Taster sessions - what happens?
Following arrangement of an appropriate time, there will be a 1-2-1 meeting with Coach Mick Nolan. He will explore your fitness background and check on any previous injuries or restrictions you may have.
Mick will tell you all about CrossFit and answer any questions you might have. Then there will be a structured session to take you through the methodology tailored to your current fitness level.
You’ll get the full CrossFit experience so you can decide if it’s for you (hopefully it will be).
Please come ready changed and with a pair of indoor gym shoes you can change into when you arrive.
Apps we use
To help you with your training programme
We use two apps to run the business.
Firstly you will be sent a link for the TeamUp App. This one takes care of all the administration and financial details. There are forms to complete,
A waiver to read and your bank details which are held by GoCardless.
Once the process is complete, you will need our second app called BoxMate (download from AppStore on your phone) which takes care of all things workout. BoxMate will let you see the Workout of the day (WOD for short) and let you record your results. It’s helpful to track your progress. BoxMate acts as a depository of all your records as well as a library for all the CrossFit workouts.
